For over three years I have been using a bookmarking service, "del.icio.us", that allows you to save and organize your bookmarks in the clouds. (Which means that you can access it from any computer or platform). And up until recently I have been mostly happy with the system. There were a few glitchy annoyances but nothing that would drive me from not using it. But, last week the whole interface changed. It changed to a very simplistic style and a very different way of functioning. In Apr 27, 2011 – Chad Hurley and Steve Chen, the YouTube founders bought out delicious from Yahoo. (It looks like they didn't get the password to their blog after all! ) There many items and functions that they are still working on. I for one will be watching to see what becomes of it and if they can bring up to the coolness level of delicious to what YouTube has become. But, until then I wanted to work with an established service that works and doesn't have a lot of the issues of a converted service. So for now I am using "faves" and have found it to my liking. It is easy and intuitive to set up and maintain. I also like that you get image icons for your bookmarks and that you have a (albeit limited) capability of choosing that image. If you are really into the social networking thing you can invite your friends and share your bookmarks. For me I just wanted the capability to organize them and to be able to access them wherever or whenever I wanted. And Faves definitely meets that criteria! I think this just reinforces technology in general; there is no one perfect solution and you have to go with the best option that works for you!

Fall is upon us and this is my favorite season! With the cool, refreshing air that smells of change and the inspiration of the earthy colors anew, I have created some new business cards for TAWNYAGENE. Working with clients is great and I love translating their visions into something that reaches their customers. It is part of my passion to be able to see that connection come to fruition. It is so exciting to be a part of that. In the end it is their ideals that we put out in the world. I wanted to take some time to do that for TAWNYAGENE as we have been using the same business cards for two years. So with creative license in hand I have created 2 looks. We have two main target audiences here at TAWNYAGENE; corporate and artistic. Can you guess which business card is for who? Enjoy the cool weather and let fall be your season, to create, to renew...
